London fashion week is one of the “Big Four” fashion weeks of the world along with New York fashion week, Milan fashion week and Paris fashion week. London fashion weeks held in London twice each year, in February. London fashion weeks allows fashion designers and brands to show their latest designs to the public through different models and media covers this whole event excitedly. The important thing about London fashion week design is that it tells us about what is “inn” and what is “out” of the fashion in the current season. The showcase of autumn and winter collections held from January to April. 60 new designers exhibit at London fashion week. The fashion designers from all over the world display their eye catching designs in London fashion week UK to grab the attention of fashion lovers. 110 international emerging designers have displayed their designs in the big event i.e. London fashion week for the public. Lets have a glance on the this big and marvelous event. Day one at LFW: On the first day of London fashion week different designers have showcased their collections. A Turkish designer has displayed his outfits of flapper dress, pencil skirts and corsets. He has introduced the combination of leather and chiffon. He has mashed masculine and feminine elements together to create some unique looks in London fashion week. Other designers from England have made the event more colorful by their bold and unusual collections. Day two at LFW: The second day of London fashion week is followed by a well known singer Rihana who debuted London fashion week design with her high street collection for River Island. Moreover, other designers like Julien Macdonald, Carlotta Actics and Issa have presented their wearable pieces for both day and night. Day three at LFW: On the third day of the mega London fashion weekend, the best designers of the fashion industry showcased their collections. Matthew Williamson, Alice Temperley and Vivienne Westwood’s latest collections rocked the third day of London fashion week. They have displayed their collection of coats, hand embroided skirts, floor length gowns, nipped jackets and high waist full skirts. Day four at LFW: The fashionable activities were continuing on the fourth day of London fashion week. A Korean designer displayed his collection in a very technical way. For autumn/winter 2013-14, he has introduced long line contracting jackets with loose silk blouses. Another collection named “Koi’s Whisper” which displayed sheer trousers paired with loose fit knits and red and white cape with maze like embroidery. Day fifth at LFW: The last day of London fashion weekend has been made stylish and colorful by the collections of Ashish, Lulu Liu, Aminaka Wilmont and Roksanda llincic. They have displayed their collections keeping color palettes sinster and dangerous leather in abundance. Their collections were warm, chic and feminine. Paul Johns a professional fashion designer.
