There's something virtually enchanting about an under booked flight. You purchase your ticket, realizing just when it is too late that you've got a seat between the window and the aisle, dooming you to hour and hour squeezed between 2 strangers. You imagine the horrible flight, unable to spend the time by gazing out through the window and yet unable to even get up to go to the rest room without worrying the individual obstructing you in. You board the airplane, reaching your seat before anybody else. You pack away your overhead bags (taking care to get rid of anything you will need for the flight, as you will not wish to force the aisle passenger to stand up as you rummage around in-flight). You relax as the airplane fills, but as time passes the seats on each side of you remain empty. Excitement builds as the arriving passengers settle in. The sounds of the pre-flight activities die away, and you pray for the sound of the door closing. Finally it does, the flight attendant makes their pre-flight checks and the pilot taxis the airplane away from the jet way. You can not quite believe your luck as you move into the window seat. After takeoff you bring your baggage from overhead and plant it beside you. Although you do not want anything from your bag, you are keen to take full advantage of this lucky break, and notwithstanding your fatigue you do not need to sleep through the flight. You would like to enjoy each delightful moment. The space! The peace! It is one of the small joys in life. It is also the explanation I can always have a place in my heart for India's Jet Airways. I have flown with Jet 3 times now: once from Cochin to Mumbai, once from Mumbai to Delhi and once globally. Every time I have unbelievably found the seat beside me empty. Amazing, hence what is it about Jet Airways air ticket booking that makes this so? Why do I never find empty seats when I fly with other carriers? Well, who knows. Nevertheless if you are in hope of some extra room on your next flight it could be worth bearing these tips under consideration. Monday to Fri. are the quiet times in the air. Avoid flying on the weekends if feasible. Late night and early morning flights are disliked, so find a flight leaving during gauche hours. Try and avoid the least expensive possible fare. These flights will get even more engaging to budget visitors. A flight with a marginally higher fare may fly under capacity. Select you seat on the web. Many airlines provide an online seat map and permit you to choose a seat during air ticket booking. Avoid massive blocks of available seats (these could be filled by huge groups flying together). As an alternative try and find a bank of 3 seats with two available. You and your flying pal can split the leftover seat if it stays empty. If you try this advice you will have an improved chance than almost all of flying with a little room. Enjoy the skies!
