You’ve made it on stage. All that public speaking prep and practice…. you most likely did not rest the nights prior to. You could have the cold sweats, or the shakes, or both :) It does not matter, its go time :) Even all the expertise and practice in the world can not make up for the frightening feel of presenting your primary Public Speaking presentation. It is a rush of emotion, and it aids to understand the distinct feelings and sensations which will come upon you, and the way to handle them. 1. Take Things Slower It is quite standard to speak extremely quick in the course of your presentation.
