Mumbai is undoubtedly known for its endless charm, being the Mecca for film industry. However, other metro cities of India such as Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and now Bangalore are about to become the national hubs of filmmaking. It’s time for Bollywood to give chance to new talents in Bangalore. A success story of film making belongs to Bangalore. The Bangalore-based filmmaker Saad Khan is about to showcase new talents of Bangalore to the whole nation. On his support, an independent film producer Sumit Ghosh has the mindset to officially entertain audiences. With their filmmaking experience, they introduced a new urban thriller ‘Station – The Film’ as the first Hindi Feature Film of Bangalore which was shot on film camera and the movie is expected to come this year in your nearest theatres. Station – The Film: Cast and Crew The production team of “Station – The Film” given never ending possibilities and chance to new actors, technicians, musicians and other team members. Though cast and crew team is new to filmmaking, but they show a lot of resilience and dedication. According to the filmmakers, it is not easy to make whole movie in Bangalore at all. Though there is no lack of talents, the city has lack of facilities. And the main part – they have to stay connected with the technological changes in Indian Cinema. And Mumbai is the place where everything is possible in terms of filmmaking. What they could do is leaving the Station of Bangalore and move to Mumbai. But Sumit and Saad decided to stay focused to complete the project of making the niche urban film. Saad Khan was in United States for his course of filmmaking and he has experience of film making with Ashutosh Gowariker who is Oscar-nominated filmmaker and made a short movie which was screened at Cannes Film Festival. About the movie: Station – The Film “Station” was made under production house of Sumit Ghosh Media and the writer and director is Saad Khan. As discussed earlier, “Station” is the first Hindi Feature Film of Bangalore which is shot in RED MX Film Camera. The movie is based on three assassins who got the job of killing on an out-of-the-way railway station’s waiting room. On its theatrical trailer, it seems the concept of the movie is battle, crime, evils and demons with a fabulous suspense for the audiences. But this suspense will be revealed when the movie is released. What are eye-catching in the promos are the well-stylized shots which are made by Cinematographer Venkat Gandhari and the Music Director is Jeet Singh who has given the film classy music of new age. Apart from 49 new films from 10 cities, “Station” is shortlisted for screening in The Indian Independent Film Festival 2013. The filmmakers are hoping for more screenings in film festivals worldwide. However, the release date of the movie has not been fixed yet. But it is sure the new talents will amaze you when the movie will be released in theatres of your town.
