Read on and wash off the strongest dye stains from your carpet without working too hard. How to do the remedy Chemical Hair Dye Removal Take a clean white cloth and blot the stain immediately. Make a solution containing 1/4 tsp liquid hand dishwashing soap and one cup of lukewarm water. Now, take a clean white cloth and blot the stain with the soap solution. Wait for few minutes to let it sit on the stained part. Make a solution containing one part vinegar and two parts of lukewarm water. Now, dab this solution on the stain working from outside in. Clean the area with cold water after the stain has disappeared. Blot it dry with a clean cloth. With Liquid Laundry Detergent Take the cotton towel to blot the stain. Apply pressure and blot as much dye as possible in the towel. Put 3 gallons of warm water into the bucket. Now, mix 1/2 cup liquid laundry detergent into warm water and mix it thoroughly. Take the toothbrush and dip it into the soapy solution. Rub it on the stain in circular motion. Don't rub too hard or the carpet can be damaged. The sap residue will turn into the color of the dye. Continue the process till the soap residue become white in color. You can rinse again if required. Now, rinse and blot the stain with clean warm water until dry. Continue till all the soap is gone. With Ammonia Blot the stain using a cotton towel. Apply extra pressure and continue till there is no dye left on the white towel. Mix one part of ammonia to four parts of warm water and make a solution. Take the toothbrush and dip it into the ammonia solution and rub it on the stain, but make sure you don't rub too hard. The stain will start showing signs of fading. Continue till the entire stain has been completely washed off. Now, rinse that area with hot water and blot it dry. Remember, if you fail to get the stain out, you are in good company. Many professionals cannot remove the stain, because it is a permanent dye that you are trying to remove.
