Factors that Affect your Website

Website Design
There are many details to consider in the design and development of a website. In fact, it may even seem like an endless list, but if you look closely you will see that some things are more important than others, elements that come up regularly on the most successful sites, objectively speaking.

Once you have reached the stage of planning your site, what you will integrate into your web pages together into broad categories, ranging from interface design to content creation through web development and the programming language chosen.

Today, I would like to begin by listing five criteria that your site must meet to be as successful as possible. In total, I've listed a couple of criteria, each incorporating five key attributes that must comply with any website worthy of the name.

1. A visual and design quality: First things first the graphics (or design) of your site. I do not know about you, but if I come across a website that is not pleasing visually speaking, I likely to "zap" and redirect me to another site.

This does not mean that every site needs a visual incredibly high quality, but if a site has not been updated since 1994, the owner should seriously consider the update, not to mention the remake bottom.

In sum, the first impression is the key, and although an interesting visual not provide alone the success of your site, it will at least deserves the attention of your visitors enough for them to throw a look at what you have to offer them elsewhere.

2. User Interface Reflected: With a good design is often a good user interface. The user interface and the functional aspect is the foundation of any good website. When designing a website, you have to put yourself in the place of the average user and, of course, determine your target audience: who will visit your website, what is the profile of the ideal customer, and Have they used to surf the internet.

It is indeed useful, if not essential, to create a profile of your visitors and keep in mind when planning and designing your website. Be sure that you offer on your site all the information they need before purchasing, membership etc.

Be sure your navigation system is easy to spot and consistent. And remember this: what is obvious to you is not necessarily the person who visits your site. However, and this is the rule in this area, a site that is first and foremost for its visitors. Also on the web, the customer is king.

3. The main navigation system: What I call the primary navigation system, it is the most important links to your site. For example, the buttons "contact us" or "our products". These links must be within the main navigation of your site as they move towards the key areas of your site. Be very careful to put those links above with large computer screens today and more screen resolutions "above the bottom of the page. The idea is to never have to "scroll" down to see a navigation link to a key area of the site.

Elements to include on the upper part of the home are your logo (which, ideally, redirect to your home page), as well as links to the main sections of your site.

For example put "Home

About

Services

FAQ

Contact" in the navigation bar at the top of your site. Consistency is the keyword.

4. Repeat navigation in the "footer": If you use images (or even a Flash menu) for your navigation, it is particularly important to provide a dual navigation links in your footer. Even if you use text links at the top, this type of duplication is always helpful. Want indeed make your site as easy as possible so that your visitors find the content they want on your site.

Often the footer allows adding links to additional information. such as conditions of use, Legal etc. In short, information that should be easy to find, but do not necessarily appear in the main navigation of your website.

5. Having quality content: Now you know the saying, "Content is king". you have a beautiful website that will attract someone's attention if the content is not good, I'm willing to bet that it will not stay.

When writing your website, it is important to provide useful information and knowledgeable about your company, your products, services, etc. If you use a blog, informative articles related to your area of expertise are also very useful.

While it is important to sell yourself or your business, I advise you not to exaggerate either. Especially on a blog, people who read you do not want to hear about "you and only you, navel of the universe or the eighth wonder of the world " they mainly want to know how you can help.

Those are the top five tips that I wanted to share about creating a website
