Many people who have had problems with the Window Cleaning services they hire come from not asking a few very important question such as: Do they have references, and then when calling for the reference asking if whoever you're planning on hiring is there. You ask that to make sure you're not calling a friend or relative and that you are getting an actual reference. When you get their number from an ad that says a certain amount will be discounted, get the Window Cleaning Estimate FIRST, and then hand them the discount coupon, that way you know you're actually getting a discount. Ask them what the estimate includes, many fly by nights who have low prices are bidding the windows ONLY, and not cleaning the frames, sills, or window runners, and when you ask them why they are not doing that you'll hear... "We just gave you a price for the windows" and then tell you the screens will cost more as will the runners and frames, and since they have already started 99 times out of a 100 you the customer will either be unhappy with only the windows cleaned, or pay the extra charges which in the long run will cost you more then if you had hired a Professional Window Cleaning Service. Ask them if they have shoe covers, or will take the shoes off when doing your interiors, who wants the mud and dirt from the outside being tracked into your house, if you have a lot of landscaping next to the windows walk around the house with the cleaner and ask how they intend to get to the windows without tearing up your landscaping.
