Protesters reacted awfully towards police officials. There were many attempts to provoke policemen to use force, but police restrained themselves. Protestors protesting for women rights were openly abusing daughters of policemen on duty to provoke them. Protestors fled out their agitation over Delhi Police in New Delhi on FRIDAY, after a brutal rape of 5 year old in east Delhi protestors kicked and pushed yellow metal barricades at the gates of the police HQ in an attempt to break through. In order to main the law and order Delhi police became vigil and controlled the outburst. However, those complaints prompted a small protest on Friday, and rage seemed to build after TV news channels showed a police officer slapping a female protester. However, media did not show that the lady protestors had spat on the face of ACP AND HAD PUNCHED HIM IN THE ABDOMEN, BEFORE HE REACTED. They also abused his daughters calling them "Vaishya", leading to sharp reaction from the ACP. Looks that this is politically motivated protest to improve prospects of some new parties and in the process hurting image of Delhi police, and cause inconvenience to common public. The anger is justified, but whether against police or not. Though they may not ask for applause after catching the suspect, but we as citizens of Delhi should stand by them to create a safer Delhi. We are engaging more policemen in these protests and diverting them from their core duty, is it the correct approach.
