Goa is famously known as “Pearl of the Orient” and a “Tourist Paradise” among the locals and tourists. People usually think Goa as a state of seas and beaches but there are many other places to visit in Goa and many other things to do in Goa as well. Goa is known for its breathtaking scenic beauty and the unimaginable infrastructures of the churches and some other historic houses as well. It is the topmost attractions among tourists around the world. Among the many places to visit in Goa the topmost priority place to visit is the Dudhsagar Falls. Tourists from around the world take up Goa tour packages to visit many places in Goa specially this amazing Dudhsagar Fall. The Dudhsagar falls or rather Dudhsagar waterfalls or the more technical name “Ocean of Milk” is situated in the tropical forests of Goa’s Western Ghats. When the water flows from such an immense height it creates a foamy illusion of an ocean shooting milk in the dense yet beautiful green forest. The most captivating and remarkable feature of this wonderful waterfall is that it is ranked among the top hundred highest waterfalls of the globe and not only this but it is also India’s tallest waterfall as well. This outstanding feature is enough to urge tourists from around the world to take up Goa tour packages. This beautiful creation of God recites in a dense woodland area with soaring mountains, beautifully flowing streams and pebbles and rocks makes this falls the perfect site for lovers, adventure junkies and nature lovers and tourists looking out for a place to enjoy a picnic ride with their families. The scenic view of this place is spellbinding. You will surely forget anything and everything going on in your mind once you set foot in this magical creation of God. Some tourists take up Goa tour packages especially to visit this waterfall, to make sure that a place like this is truly in existence apart from other places to visit in Goa. The best time to visit the Dudhsagar Waterfalls is of course between the months of July and October when the monsoon season showers rain drops into the already breathtaking flow of water. The summer season is also a favorable season to visit this waterfall as the visitors can access the foot of the falls on a jeep via Collem or Molem as the water level is significantly low during the period of the year. It is a great sport for tourists. Despite the slippery nature of its rock surface, the venue is a poplar destination for adventure junkies who like to go on hiking, trekking and climbing the falls through the thick shrubs that surround the attraction. Another feature that makes this waterfall irresistible is the presence of different varieties of butterflies, bees, and notorious monkeys and other eye-pleasing birds that inhabit the surroundings of the falls. It also boasts a cool misty plunge pool. However, this erratic plunge pool is open for outsiders at the time only when the waterfall is sufficiently calm enough to warrant swimming. This plunge pool is also rich in aquatic creatures of different sizes and shapes. Hence, all these features combined together makes Goa and Dudhsagar Falls an inevitable place to visit among the other places to visit in Goa and urging tourists to take up Goa tour packages instantly.
