Wealth is expensive. There are certain things that you can buy to express your wealth that you do not really need. In fact, even people who do not have much still buy unnecessary things all the time. For example, owning a new iPhone is one way to say that you are in touch with new technology and that you are not really out of date. But are we really up to date? I do not think so. All those new mobile phones and computer equipment exist only because their manufacturers want to earn more money. It is not about the quality of those electronic devices anymore, it is about keeping up to date. However, whether you are a kind of person who likes to buy these things or you are not one of them, there is one device which we all have, but many of us do not care about it at all. That device, my friends, is called the body. We sit by our computers all the time and our backs degenerate rapidly. But, even those who do not use computers (which are a minority nowadays) are surrounded by certain technological devices all the time which affect their health in a not so healthy way. Kids are the critical part of our humanity when it comes to developing the body correctly, because they do not have any kind of physical activity. I mean, I do not have physical activity as well, but when I was a kid, computers did not exist and I was out playing all the time. Therefore, my spine developed well back then, although now it is not quite in order. To cut the long story short, there is a way to keep your health and have a lot of fun – swimming pools. Swimming pools can be very expensive sometimes, but if you prefer standard and ordinary ones you would not have to spend much money on them. The truth is that almost every family in America that can afford a new iPhone can afford swimming a pool as well. But people rather opt not to because they think it is a waste of money. But, buying and owning a swimming pool is the best investment that you can have, no matter what. But what happens when you buy a swimming pool? Do you just go in and swim? They do not come with an instruction manual, however, it should always be mentioned how to use the swimming pool „properly“. Let me throw in a few words on what you should and what you should not do in your swimming pool. First of all, you should definitely not jump into it. Unless you have an enormous, three meters deep swimming pool, you should definitely avoid any kind of jumping. It is not about the water splashing everywhere, but more about you splashing everywhere, if you catch my drift. My friend tried to pull off a backflip in the air once, when he was bragging to his girlfriend. He did the backflip perfectly, but when he fell into the pool he literally touched the bottom with his forehead, ending up in hospital bed. The good thing about that is that he proposed to his girlfriend while he was in hospital, and she said yes. They have a baby now. But the bad thing is that he will have a small scar on his forehead for the rest of his life. So, unless you are a professional in this matter avoid all the jumping as much as possible. Secondly, try not to stay too long in the water. The best thing you could do is swim as much as you can and then get out. However, that spoils all the fun, so I cannot argue on that matter much. But, when you are with your friends in the swimming pool, you should occasionally get out, rest a while and then return. The reason for this is rather simple – when there are many people in the pool, the water gets dirtier. Therefore, you should definitely take a shower both before and after being in the swimming pool. There are those big public swimming pools where people stay all the time. And now, you might wonder how come that they are in the water so long? Well, first of all, those swimming pools are much bigger than the ones that people have in their homes. Secondly, it is indeed unhealthy to remain in public swimming pools so long regardless of their size. Size doesn't matter. The most important thing that you should do if you own a swimming pool is cleaning and maintaining it. To cut the long story short, if you do not do this you will get pretty sick. I know this sounds like a sect or something, but infections caused by dirty swimming pools can be fatal, so watch out. Of course we live in modern times where there are plenty of chemicals and devices that can help us with this cause. For example, there is a device that controls the amount of certain minerals that exist in the water and add some of them if necessary. That way you would not have to worry about whether your water has all these minerals in balance. There are plenty of other devices that can help you with cleaning. You do not have to call other people to do the cleaning for you, because you can now do it yourself. To sum up, there are thousands of ways to keep your brain in shape, but only several of them to keep your body in shape as well. You can spend all your money on things that you do not really need and that are supposed to keep your brain in shape such as new computers, mobile phones etc. Or, you can invest that money in something that is both entertaining and healthy – swimming pools. Nowadays they are not even expensive that as much, and almost everyone can afford one. Even if you have one, you should consider this article to be some kind of small instruction manual on how to properly use your swimming pool.
