The Streets of Spain Festival is taking place in London’s Southbank Centre this weekend, 3rd - 6th of May. Spanish wine brand, Campo Viejo are sponsoring the festival. The four-day celebration will run from 10.30am to 7pm daily and will offer an authentic taste of Spain through food, wine and art. The bank holiday weekend is sure to be full of the vitality and exuberance which is associated with the Spanish culture. Market stall owners from Barcelona’s world-famous La Boqueria food market will be bringing their fresh produce and tapas to the UK for the first time ever. Delicious tapas dishes will be prepared by the La Boqueria chefs and made available to visitors. Spanish breakfasts will also be served from 10:45am each day. Additionally, wine tastings of Campo Viejo’s finest products are sure to be a popular feature, hosted by the winemakers themselves. Innovative street artists Okuda and Remed will be exhibiting their work at the festival. There will also be representation from Spanish cinema with film screenings as showcased at the Spanish Film Festival. Furthermore, each evening will be privy to a fantastic pop-up restaurant, led by renowned Michelin-starred chef, Angel Pascual. This unique Spanish dining experience will be open from 7pm to 10:30pm and will provide a five-course food and wine menu for £65 per person. There will be a fascinating selection of wine activities on offer, such as introduction to Spanish wine, blend your own wine, a range of tasting experiences, and an exclusive advanced Spanish wine masterclass. - Robbie Westacott
