Are you interested in gaining exposure to millions of folks? Do you realize that Facebook is a great medium for that? Millions of potential clients are on Facebook right now, just waiting to become your customers if you market to them properly.

Update your Facebook page regularly. Do not hesitate to post a new update every morning if you find that your subscribers check Facebook at least once a day. If your subscribers are not likely to check Facebook very often, share a weekly update to avoid flooding them with too many updates.

Connect your Facebook page with others who are willing to help spread the word for you. If you want to get the ideal results from using Facebook, the key is to have an insane number of people that Like your page. If you have someone on your side, it can be easy to acheive this.

Post something every day on your Facebook page. Probably the single most effective way to boost your Facebook marketing is to be an active participant on Facebook. That means writing new posts, sharing new ideas, and passing on interesting things from around the web. The more active you are, the more opportunity there is for people to see your page.

Never, ever, EVER pay for Facebook fans! Facebook can tell if your fans are engaged in your page or not, and the more fans you have who don't check out your page, the worse your EdgeRank will be. You want fans who really are interested in your products, so let them come naturally.

Those who use Facebook as a marketing tool need to make sure there are ways to interact with potential consumers. By design, Facebook is a social network. Most people use Facebook to communicate and share with others, so make sure that you are providing a means for you to have two-way conversation with others. Brainstorm about your brand's specific aspects which are inherently social. If you create engaging content around these aspects, people will want to share it with their friends.

Offer a reward to those that already frequent your page for telling their friends to like your page. This is a relatively cost effective way to interact with those that already are interested in your business, as well as an easy way to spread the word about what you have to offer.

Try to engage an open forum on your page. A post may generate a conversation that you should try to keep going. Don't delete their post or you might insult them. The only time it's a good idea to take action is when people start to say offensive things.

Use a lot of bold colors on your facebook marketing page. The key is to grab the attention of anyone that happens upon your page without being so bold that you put them off. It is best to stay away from hot colors, however, as that can be very difficult to view on a computer.

Get your fans involved, particularly if you have a new product. Ask them to help you name it or to come up with an advertising slogan. When they feel invested in the process, they are much more likely to buy it and to encourage others to do so as well.

Think about Facebook matchmaking as a way to market your brand. A company Facebook page is a great way to reach out to others and allow them to communicate. Don't pass up the opportunity! They will tell others their story, providing word of mouth advertising. Even the smallest situations can make for great advertising.

Post a "just for fun" post every so often. Not every post you write needs to be officially about your brand. People want to see that there are humans behind these fan pages. Every so often give them something that shows that you are. Repost a popular meme or something else that's slightly random to your brand, yet still tasteful.

It is critical that you are aware of the audience you're targeting with your campaign through Facebook. Focusing your marketing efforts on your target audience can really pay off with increased sales.

Stay relative to your brand or niche whenever you post content to your Facebook marketing page. People visit your profile expecting to see pretty much the same topic discussed on a regular basis. If you tend to stray, they will never know what to expect and that can cost you viewership.

Now you know that Facebook is one great option for marketing your business. There are many people out there in the world of Facebook and there is the possibility that they can see what you have to offer. Use the things that you were taught here and your business will see some growth while you're able to speak to your audience. With marketing on Facebook, you can do anything.
