In today’s society, a big emphasis has been put on education since it seems to be the only way to keep from falling behind in a fast-paced world. Participation You may have plenty of desire to succeed in online classes, but if you don't participate then there isn’t much point in taking the class. Sitting back and simply reading through the online discussion or watching the lecture videos won't do you any good. Since internet-based classes lack that face-to-face interaction between instructors and peers you need to step up and participate in the discussions in order to get the most out of the class.
