Sales of protein powders continue their fast growth in Japan, as consumers look for to enhance their wellness. Stores are making even more space on their racks for the powders, which cost 5,000-8,000 yen ($47.86-$76.58) per kilo. These powders are composed mainly of milk and soybean proteins, and are available in vanilla, banana or strawberry flavors.
