Located at a distance of 290 km from the capital of India, Mussoorie is one of the most visited tourist destination in summer holidays. GunHill is the second highest point of Mussoorie which is accessible by the cable car on the Mall road. These cable cars are one of the many fascinating aspects about Mussoorie. These Ropeway cable cars transport you from one hill to another. There is a mall road which is a kind of bazaar in the city. Tibetan prayer wheels, wooden boxes and pen stands, hand-carved walking sticks and Ladakhi shawls are some of the things to pick up from here. The place also houses some good educational institutions that were constructed during the British raj in India. The long list of tourist attractions that the hill station is famous for includes kempty falls, Bhatta falls, Jawalaji temple, lal tibba, etc. The pleasant weather makes people fall in love with Mussourie. The cold breeze that surrounds the evenings magnetizes people with the place. The mornings are so calm and serene, even those who have the habit of waking up late love to get up early and take a walk to see the rising sun. It is also called as the fairyland, thanks to the mesmerizing snow ranges of the place. Pack your bags and leave for Mussoorie in order to take a break from the busy life of the metro.
