Most Best MBA Colleges in India accept the CAT examination score for admissions. It is conducted by the IIMs and it was recently made an online examination. There are two sections in the test, the first one focusing on data interpretation and quantitative ability. The second section tests the student's logical reasoning and verbal ability. Although the test duration is 140 minutes, candidates will be given only 70 minutes for 30 questions in each section. Once they complete section 1, they cannot return to it and there's an onscreen timer that will alert you. Several good business schools in India consider the score attained in GMAT which is an entrance examination that is accepted globally. The benefit of GMAT is that the score is accepted for a period of 5 years. The 'XAT or Xavier Admission Test' is another popular test conducted by XLRI.
