The film picks up with Celine and Jesse nine years after their last rendezvous in "Before Sunset" and nearly two decades after their very first encounter on a train bound for Vienna in "Before Sunrise." Now in their early-forties traveling in Greece, they reunite to reassess what they want subsequent in life before the clock strikes midnight.
Linklater has directed 17 function films. He also serves as artistic director for the Austin Film Society, which he founded in 1985 to showcase films from all over the world which might be not normally shown in Austin. The Austin Film Society has offered out much more than a million dollars in grants to Texas filmmakers. In 1999, it was honored by the Directors Guild of America in recognition of its support of the arts.
"Before Midnight" marks Linklater's third collaboration with Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke: "Before Sunrise" was the Opening Evening film at the 1995 Sundance Film Festival, and its successor, "Before Sunset," was nominated for an Academy Award for its screenplay in 2005.If you like celine please Visit our celine online shop!
