Engineering in a few years has become one of the most sought after career options at present. There are several engineering colleges in Rajasthan that are offering very good education and are constantly improving their standards to match up with the pace of the best national and international colleges. Many of the engineering institutes in Jaipur are now being ranked not only amongst the best engineering colleges in Rajasthan but in India. The talent of engineering students in Jaipur is making them gain accolades all over the country as well as the world. There are many educational groups that have emerged in Rajasthan in the last decade. Some of these groups are performing exceptionally well in serving into different streams of education, such as engineering, management, pharmacy, etc. Especially, the engineering colleges are making a remarkable change in the way education is being rendered in Jaipur. Apart from the conventional programs, such as Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, IT, etc., the engineering colleges have also started including several new streams of technology, like Automobiles, Robotics, Nano-tech, and newer dimensions of biotech and information technology. One of the unconventional streams of engineering that is attracting students in Rajasthan from past few years is Automobiles engineering. As there is a lot of scope from the career point of view in this field of engineering, the students are increasingly taking admission into the engineering courses related to automobiles. The automobile sector is gaining new heights in the country as there are many new companies emerging nowadays and also the foreign automobile brands are increasingly heading to India. These companies look mostly for the local talent for their workforce requirements, due to which, there has been a steep increase in the need for good colleges that produce students trained for the automobile sector in India and specifically Rajasthan, being the biggest state of India. Most of the universities and engineering colleges in Jaipur are affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), and follow the course curriculum created by RTU. However, the courses are revised frequently and are added with the new technological inventions and changes. Automobile Engineering is becoming one of the upcoming disciplines, started being taught in some of the prestigious colleges of engineering in Rajasthan. The auto fairs that are rapidly being organized in Rajasthan attract many students, which shows their interest in knowing about automobiles and increasing number of students inquiring about auto-related courses and programs in career fairs and other educational events shows that there are numerous students who want to pursue their careers in the automobile sector. Also, the brisk academic performances of students in automobile engineering courses, and their innovative instincts shown in the tech-festivals and other such events held in the country, in addition with the efforts made by the colleges and their faculty call for more focus being laid on the development of this discipline. Moreover, the number of students being placed out of automobile engineering every year is also increasing constantly. Thus, it can be concluded that the engineering colleges, especially the top engineering colleges in Rajasthan are getting better day-by-day in catering the needs of the industry as well as providing students with great platforms to be prepared for future by learning newer technologies and entering the unexplored or less explored do.
