If your pet is not with you all day, you won’t be privy to some of the issues they might be facing (through no fault of your own). It could be that they spend their days scratching at their skin but settle when you’re at home. The point is that it is not always easy to tell that something physical is going on, especially if you have dogs with skin problems. The skin is hidden by fur and unless you have good reason to go looking through it, you’re not likely to notice a problem unless your canine friend is down in the dumps or he starts to lose his fur. Because parasites cannot normally be detected by the naked eye and often burrow beneath the skin, it’s not easy for an owner to spot that there is something going on physically.
