Rocky Deutsch is a native of North Virginia who completed his elementary and high school education from O'Connell High School in Arlington, and was admitted to Virginia Tech University from where he attained his Bachelor of Animal Science degree. Later, he enrolled at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1985. After graduating, he became associated with the Tidewater Emergency Veterinary Hospital, which is an after-hours emergency clinic in Newport News Virginia. He served this veterinary practice as a staff veterinarian. During his tenure ship, he was responsible for managing and overseeing emergency medical and surgical cases in an ever-growing community. Later in May 1986, he became the owner and manager of the Burke Veterinary Clinic. Presently, he is a veterinary doctor in Northern Virginia who is highly acknowledged and appreciated for offering dedicated services in the field of animal treatments. He formed a solo practice in 2008 that aims at providing veterinary relief services for clinics seeking temporary help. Through these relief services, he got a chance to practice Veterinary Medicine in more than 20 different practices. Apart from this, he also formed a solo practice that offers services for performing euthanasia in the pet’s home. This service addresses the needs of people who want their pets to spend their last minutes in their own home rather than the hospital or any medical center. This solo practice also provides transportation services for taking the pet to the crematorium for private cremation. In addition, he also works as a part-time Veterinarian Staff Surgeon at Tackett’s Mill Veterinary Hospital, which is located in Woodbridge, Virginia. He has been performing an array of surgeries for this busy solo practice since February 2009. Rocky Deutsch is a member of several associations including the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the District of Columbia Academy, and the American Heartworm Society, etc.
