Indians are known to be very creative when it comes to cooking and not only because of the spices they use but because they can make anything taste delicious. Take for instance easy appetizers for parties. There are very many recipes to keep your guests asking for more. Aloo Bonda is one of the easy appetizers for parties vegetarian. You will need four potatoes, two cups of oil and two cups of besan, two chillies, half a table spoon of turmeric and red chilli powder then finally a quarter table spoon of garam masala. The potatoes are boiled then mashed. Afterwards add chopped chillies to the mashed potatoes together with the Garam masala and the red chilli powder. Now makes ball out of the mixture. Add salt and turmeric powder to the oil as you heat it then dip the balls and let them cook till golden brown. Add some ketchup and serve while hot.

Vegetables can be a favorite meal

With Indian chaat recipes masala one is guaranteed to see children eating their vegetables without complaining. There are several Indian chat recipes but the most common one is that of the Aloo Ki Tikki. This is a vegetarian meal that takes averagely fifty minutes to prepare and cook. You will need four boiled potatoes, three green chillies that are chopped, salt, and five twigs of coriander leaves chopped, oil, red chilli powder and a pinch of asafetida. Mash the boiled potatoes and do so while they are still warm. Add the coriander leaves, salt, green chillies, red chilli powder and the asafetida to the mashed potatoes. Mix everything properly. The mixture is now ready to be divided into portions of twelve and shaped into round balls known as tikkis then flattened a bit. The tikkis are shallow fried in a pan or a tawa till golden brown then drained of oil. You can enjoy your chaat with some chutney.

Potatoes have limitless potential

When it comes to Indian cuisine potatoes never miss from the list and that is why they are also present in vegetarian recipes Indian. Spicy Indian potatoes with chillies will leave you smacking your lips. You will need the following in order to cook them;

• Three green onions, chopped • Three tablespoons of flour • Two tablespoons of fresh cilantro that are chopped • Half a tablespoon of salt • Pepper and dash salt • Water • Half a tablespoon of sugar • Two potatoes, chopped • Oil • Three tablespoons of tomato paste • Five green chillies that are chopped • Two tablespoons of soy sauce • A tablespoon of hot or chilli sauce • Three cloves of garlic, minced • butter

Preparation

The flour is combined with salt and water. Ensure that you have the right thickness. Coat the potatoes in this mixture then deep fry them in the oil. Golden brown is the color that shows that they are properly cooked. Take a skillet and heat the garlic, chilli sauce, tomato paste and chillies. Add the sugar, potatoes, salt and pepper then stir well. You will finally garnish the potatoes with onions and cilantro after you remove them from the heat.
