Over 70 British artists will come together for the tenth anniversary of the Vauxhall Art Car Boot Fair, this month, on Sunday 9th June 2013. Held in the car park of the Old Truman Brewery just off London’s famous Brick Lane, the unique event has grown in popularity each year since it was launched. Revered figures from within the industry, artists, collectors, curious customers and even some celebrities turn out in huge numbers to get a look at and get their hands on the coveted art on sale. Some of the day’s highlights will be the attendance of Marcus Harvey, Gavin Turk, and Sir Peter Blake. To celebrate its tenth year, the Vauxhall Art Car Boot Fair will be distributing 10 golden tickets at random, to allow the lucky recipients the chance to enter the fair 10 minutes before everyone else. This will obviously allow them first choice on any pieces they come across. The fair promises to be bigger and better than ever this year, with plenty of exciting guests and items set to appear.
