When it comes to throwing a sushi party, the planning could get a bit stressful. Firstly, you’ll need to learn how to make sushi, buy all the ingredients and make sure it’s all ready by the time your guests arrive. Not forgetting all the other planning that goes into a party besides the food. Or, you could hire sushi chefs to either provide you with the sushi or come and prepare sushi in front of your guests. There is no doubt the latter is the easier option, especially when the host of the sushi party will be busy enough just getting the venue ready without the added worry of whether there will be enough food, or if the sushi is being stored correctly before serving. A sushi party doesn’t necessarily just mean a party with sushi for food. A sushi party can also involve caterers preparing sushi at centre stage of your event which is not only informative but also entertaining for you and your guests. You can watch the chefs hard at work while they roll the sushi and also provide a bit of humour with their heartfelt banter. Although sushi generally always looks artistic just on its own, for a sushi party it might be a good idea to display the sushi in different arrangements. You can display it in designs that relate to the party, for example, the couples names if it’s an engagement party, a mortarboard if it’s a graduation celebration or the logo of a company for corporate events. The beauty of a sushi party is that it can easily be both formal and informal. You can have a sit-down dinner, a buffet or waiters wandering round with finger-food type sushi. However you choose to serve your sushi, there is no doubt it will be elegant. This is simply because sushi is always thought of as being expensive and exclusive, so get involved and throw a sushi party that will leave your guests gushing for months. There is a brilliant catering company based in Lymington, Hampshire, that are perfect for any sushi party as they can provide a tailor-made service depending on what you require.
