Would you like to walk through life like Jesus did? No one who has ever lived has ever gone through daily life with more passion, more tranquility, or more pleasure. Yet nobody was ever saddled with a tougher task to do! At the beginning of our life in Christ, almost all of us prayed that we might grow to become like Jesus. God our Father has been at work answering that appeal ever since! What was Jesus like? There are five ways God is directing every single day to guide us to become like Jesus. Receiving insight will help you work together with what the Lord is already doing. 1. Tension free. We all have plenty of things that we have to do each day. Jesus was no different! No one ever had a bigger agenda or more lost people to care for. Nevertheless we see Him passing through the working days with inner peace, unstressed by the pressures of an overloaded day and able to permit Himself to be infringed upon at a moment's notice. Would you want to sail through your days with such peace? Jesus is inside you showing you His habits of trusting the Lord God and looking to do the next right thing. Turn to Him and stick to the steps He reveals--it thoroughly alleviates stress! 2. Irritation free. Do you find yourself irritated by the foolish schemes of people who keep bothering you? Would you love to navigate through your life with a whole lot less displeasure? Jesus walked through a crowded world of sinners who caused unlimited difficulties for Him, yet He was able to maintain joy alive inside Himself, simply because He was truly good at forgiving goofed-up people. Wouldn't you want to find out the ways to love as Jesus did? He is there within you willing and able to help you fully forgive and love everyone just as they are. Doesn't He love and accept you ? So drink in His mercy and grace and begin giving it away! 3. Hurt free. Most appear to think that the principal way to evade feeling rejected is to evade being rejected! Think of these mis-guided tactics: perfectionism (struggling to escape critical remarks by never failing); withdrawal (laboring to stay away from put downs by retreating from people and abstaining from challenges); aggression (blaming others before all else). These ways don't work! You still end up feeling the pain nonetheless. Jesus felt the undeserved rejections of those who hated Him. To counter it He lived with His heart shielded by trusting that His Father's love for Him was everything He needed and that His Father would never reject Him. That set Him free of feeling rejected! Wouldn't you love to pass through your day like Jesus did? You are upheld by the same Father! He is constantly covering you with love and mercy and will never forsake you. Be sure to run to Him as soon as people hurt you. 4. Care free. The whole world is beseiged with problems and risks. The news reports are generally alarming. You hardly know what's about to happen next but you can guess that half the time it's not going to be good! How can anyone live with inner peace? Jesus was able to stay in moment to moment dependence upon God's ability to control the world, not His. Jesus lived peace-filled all the time no matter what the enemy was doing, for the simple reason that He trusted the Father in all things. Wouldn't you like to find out how to live without fear like Jesus? There is a grace-filled nature within you that prefers to live by having faith in God. Cast your worries upon Him to ensure that your new life can blossom! 5. Burden free. If your heart can love, you are in danger of being snared by the tempter. Lots of folks that we love live in dire trouble and frequently there is little we can think of to resolve the problems in their life. This can certainly weigh a person down. In every place Jesus went He saw people whom He held dear that were encumbered with heart-rending burdens and living with great sorrow , however He never got stressed out, ill-tempered or disheartened in endeavoring to be God's vessel for assisting them. Would you want to be able to minister to others in your life like Jesus did? He is there right beside you wanting to help you get to know from Him how to trust your loved ones to God.
