If you want to be successful with affiliate marketing, you need to learn how to write hot articles and sydnicate them for the search engines. No matter how many different methods are created for gaining traffic online, article marketing will always be the number one way to drive more affiliate sales, just for the simple fact that you can target a certain audience more clearly than using other methods; Pay-per click, social media, word of mouth, etc. Here are 5 secret methods to getting more traffic with the snap of a finger, all for free: Write More Articles- This may be difficult for new affiliates who may not yet have the capital to hire writers or buy expensive automated software. I have heard some affiliates claiming to have made sales by writing one article, and then submitting that same article to various directories. The problem with this method is, it is only effective when selling a product or service that is related to internet marketing. This is because that same article is not going to get indexed in Google (most of the articles will be marked as duplicate content and ommitted from the search engines). It is better to write more articles, and choose 5-10, dofollow, high page rank article directories to submit them to. This may be a little difficult, because many of the high PR sites will only allow a certain amount of submissions. Make sure to do your research first on at least 20 sites to submit to. 20 articles are pretty good to start with. You can crank these articles out yourself in less than six hours if you do your research ahead of time and create article outlines. Bum Article Marketing- This is one of the oldest methods in the book when it comes to article marketing. 'Bum Article' is simply writing a review on a topic, instead of writing a generic article. Writing a direct review of a product or a service allows your backlinks in the article to be ranked higher based off of relevancy. For example: If you are promoting an affiliate product that is already pretty popular, chances are, your article can be found easier if it is more specific. “Blue Jeans For Sale” will get less hits than “Gap Blue Jeans For Sale”. Attention Grabbing Headlines- Your headline is your bread and butter. No matter if you are writing an article for submission, or a classified ad, your headline is what makes people click on the ad. Your sales will skyrocket, once you learn the art of copywriting. I would suggest taking a quick copywriting course (as they're are many available for free online). Try to find and use long-tail keywords that have very low competition from other marketers. Sell Your Own Services and Products- Even though I am a big fan of affiliate marketing, let's be honest; most networks/programs shave at least 20% of your earnings. If you look closely at your affiliate signup agreement, it states in the fine print that they have a right to do this. Most of that money goes towards the owners of the networks and the affiliate managers. Most super affiliates know this, and don't have a problem with it, but you can always increase your earnings by selling your own products. If you are putting in a lot of tedious work to crank out articles (writing them yourself and submitting to websites), then you want to make sure you are getting paid for every single sale. Switch it Up- As I have stated before, Google is getting more and more complex with their indexing/spider software, so if you do decide to use the “write one article and blast it to various websites” method, then you might want to use a variation of titles, and a different resource box for each article.
