Pattaya is one of Thailand's most well-liked holidaymaker destinations. This friendly town is widely known for its stunning tropical beaches, its great diners and colorful nightlife. What many travelers don't realize is how reasonable this outlandish town can be. Pattaya has a sizeable choice of dear five star hostels if you like a full service experience and a sea view. If you are traveling on the cheap, there's a lot of great accommodation at lodging houses and smaller hostels that offer comfy rooms and pleasant service. There is a big choice of hotel rooms in the range 5 hundred to one thousand baht per night (about US $16 to $32 per night). Here is a few that are advocated. If you like staying near to the beach, then select from one of the Soi (side streets) leading to Beach Road. At the northern-most end of Beach Road, on Soi three, there's Siam Guesthouse, with air-con rooms and free web from 650 baht. On Soi six, the street known for its brief time bars, there's a range of incredible value guesthouses. At the Lord Nelson Guesthouse, there is a cafe and English style boozer; rooms can be gotten from seven hundred baht per night at the just overhauled three Angels Guesthouse, select from a range of room styles from seven hundred baht. For only one thousand baht per night, a lovely room with four poster bed can be yours! On Soi seven, a little to the south of Pattaya Klang ( Central Road ) the Pig & Whistle Hotel has a bistro and normal English Bar that serves local and imported lagers. Rosie O'Grady's Hotel has an Irish theme with bar and diner, also featuring local and imported lagers, with rooms from 750 baht per night. The popular Soi Buakhao area east of 2nd Road is a bit further from the Beach but has a large number of features to make your vacation an exciting filled event. There's every kind of entertainment here, from lager bars, go-go bars, and short-time bars, to massage parlours. On Soi Buakhao there's Laguna Buakhao House which has pretty Thai style furniture; air con rooms have Wi-Fi, and DVD player from 5 hundred baht. Siam Sawasdee is a bigger hotel with a variety of services including cafe and pool; rooms from 720 baht per night. Soi LK Metro, just off Soi Buakhao, is a quiet right angled street that's packed with guesthouses, bars and bistros. There's Armageddon Guesthouse with it's alien sculptures, and games room with pool table; rooms from 5 hundred baht per night. In the corner of Soi LK Metro, in a calm situation, there's the Pasadena Lodge, with twenty superbly furnished rooms, and 4 room types from seven hundred baht per night. On the opposite side of Soi Buakhao there's Soi Chaiyapoon, renowned for Funny Dave's caf that serves breakfast twenty-four hours every day, and just opposite you will find Neeroys that serves fish 'n chips and a variety of curries. Canterbury Stories is a guesthouse with a difference; the ground floor is a book store and caf. Peruse the books while you are having your first mug of joe ; all day breakfast at ninety baht ; rooms from 550 baht per night.
