Traveling to Koh Samui Thailand

Travel & Tourism
If you're coming to Thailand on vacation and are traveling on a tight budget we'll provide you with some good info and ways to get to Samui. The best way to go to the south of Thailand is by plane or overnight train. You can book these options with any travel bureau in Bangkok or you should buy the ticket without delay at the airport in Bangkok. Often you'll get on a train around 6pm or merely straight after. You can go by second class, sleeper or first class. The difference is that with a second class carriage there are beds on both sides, which are lower and upper bunks. Lower are far pricier than the higher. First class carriage is superb for couples or anybody that wants some privacy. These are a self contained booth built to hold two folks. You should expect to go by train for twelve hours. Reaching Surat Thani province around 5.30 - 6am the following day. When you get to the station you are going to need to purchase a bus / ship mixed ticket there to Samui. To order the ticket ahead isn't possible but there are numerous service-booths and you can simply organize any connection you like. A ticket for the train costs in the region of one thousand Thai Baht dependent on the transfers you select. You'll then reach Don Sak Pier which is the pier where the ferries leave for Kho Samui Island. Travel time to the pier is approx one and a half hours. Travel time on board the ferry is also one and a half hours. You'll come ashore in Nathon, where the key ferry terminal of the island is found. Nathon is halfway round the island from the hottest beach Chaweng. The skyrocketing cost in gas and the higher value of gas on the island (extra transport charges) means taxis aren't as cheap as Bangkok. However you're going to need to get one if you intend to stay on this side of the Island. If you want to order one of the Samui hostels this can be done by going to any online hotel reservation internet site there are numerous available offers. Another and faster way to reach Samui, is to go through Lomprayah. Lomprayah is reached by air or bus to Chumphon. The trip takes roughly six hours. There you catch the high speed Catamaran and head of to the 1st stop Koh Nang Yuan Then to Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and ultimately onto Koh Samui. A great trip when you're keen on Islands. Again this takes around six hours. Tickets again are around one thousand Thai Baht each way. You can however catch a bus if you want which should only cost around eight hundred Baht but do you truly want to sit on a coach for twelve or thirteen hours, then move to minivan to the pier and then get a ferry? Note : I counsel you not To select this transport in the wet season as the sea can be coarse and many folks fall sea sick on the Catamaran. Naturally you can fly to Samui with tickets here around 4500 baht and rising!! There are around fifteen - twenty flights daily so again connections are not a difficulty in any way.

If you want to get more information about Qatar airways ticket and about Bangkok Koh Samui Flights flights then visit our website and collect more informations.
