If you spend a lot of time on your articles, the idea of using them only once can seem like a waste. Never fear! Submit Your Article is here to give you some great article recycling ideas to make the most out of your hard work. You may never have thought of recycling your old articles into something new and refreshed, but I find it's a great way to really leverage your articles into a full-blown marketing campaign. Without further ado, here are 5 extra uses for your articles that will help your articles double up as something else! 1. Upcycled Blog Posts This is something I use as part of my own article marketing strategy, as it's easy to do and means I can really use my time effectively. Essentially, take something from your blog - a post you enjoyed writing and wouldn't mind working on is best - and then rewrite it into a unique article based on the same ideas. One downside with this technique is you have to make sure the new content remains unique - otherwise, you'll actually harm your SEO efforts. However, using fresh eyes on an old subject, you're bound to come up with a new way of expressing old ideas. 2. Podcasting After an article is published, why not turn it into a podcast? Personally I record my own voice reading my articles, but if you're not comfortable with that, there are plenty of freelance voice artists that are willing to record short articles for a minimal amount. You don't have to do this with every article - just choose a few every month to recycle this way. 3. Make a Video Try using your article to create an informational video that can be uploaded to YouTube. If you've already got a podcast of the article, you can sync this with a video for extra podcast leverage. 4. Convert it into an E-book E-books can be a great way to go into more detail on a specific topic in your niche. Gather together a group of your articles related to a specific topic - an article series can work really well with this - and edit them into your very own e-book. You'll need some tweaking to make sure the chapters flow, but e-books are easy and cheap to publish, as well as a great way to get the word out about your business. By re-using content you've already written, your e-book will practically write itself, so don't feel intimidated! 5. Create a Squidoo Lens If you haven't used Squidoo, I encourage you to play around with it. Pages on Squidoo have an easier time of ranking highly in search engines, so it can be a worthwhile investment to create a quality web page there. This is a great way to get a bit return for a little effort, which is the holy grail of recycling your articles - so give it a go! Which of these ideas appeals to you?
