At Wesbell Electronics Inc. Welding Cable we have a product offering from 60 manufacturers, from hook up wire, welding cable, computer cables, rubber power cables, portable power, flexible control cables, flexible copper, extensive line of cable management products including tubing, sleeving and cable ties. Our Welding Cable is manufactured with flexible copper strands in 30 awg or 34 awg depending on the flexibility you need. It's rated for 600 volts and has a rubber EPDM insulation that is abrasion resistant and RoHS compliant. If you need the 34 awg extra flexible welding cable see our Super Vu Tron material. If you need a cable with higher voltage take a look at our Type W power cable that is rated for 2000 volts. Our Welding Cable has the following features and properties; • 600 Volts • Temperature rating 90°C • RoHS Compliant • Stranded Bare Copper Strands • Flexible • EPDM Rubber Insulation This is our Welding Cable Inventory; Part Number AWG Size Stranding AMPS Weight / 1000' Welding Cable 6 6 AWG 259/30 75 AMPS 140 lbs Welding Cable 4 4 AWG 374/30 100 AMPS 180 lbs Welding Cable 2 2 AWG 625/30 140 AMPS 265 lbs Welding Cable 1 1 AWG 778/30 160 AMPS 320 lbs Welding Cable 1/0 1/0 - 0 AWG 990/30 190 AMPS 405 lbs Welding Cable 2/0 2/0 - 00 AWG 1248/30 223 AMPS 485 lbs Welding Cable 3/0 3/0 - 000 AWG 1586/30 265 AMPS 620 lbs Welding Cable 4/0 4/0 - 0000 AWG 2054/30 310 AMPS 790 lbs Welding Cable 250 250 MCM 2496/30 445 AMPS 965 lbs Welding Cable 350 350 MCM 3432/30 552 AMPS 1310 lbs Welding Cable 500 500 MCM 5054/30 692 AMPS 1960 lbs Our standard flexible welding cable has a rubber insulation and it's much more flexible than the standard THHN electrical wire. Super Vu Tron has a thicker insulation than standard welding cable. The thicker insulation allows for a lot more impact which extends the life of the cable to be even longer. If you need a basic welding cable you can visit our standard flex welding cable page. Other power cables include: DLO cable which offers a higher voltage but isn't as flexible as welding cable. DLO cable (locomotive cable) also has tinned copper instead of bare copper strands. Type W power cable is another type that offers a rubber jacket over the standard insulation for industrial use. This type of cable takes a lot of abuse out in the field by getting run over by machines and dragged across concrete and rocky surfaces. We have over sixty years of Welding Cable combined experience and knowledge amongst all the staff working here at Wesbell Electronics.
