Children Safety Expert, Mike Jones, recently taught a children’s safety course called “Know and Go” at Personal Mastery Martial Arts. The course focused on teaching children to be more aware of what is going on around them to avoid potentially dangerous situations and also taught them what to do if they find themselves in a situation they need to get out of. The course was part of a customer appreciation weekend that Personal Mastery Martial Arts and iLoveKickboxingSandy held. The weekend included a number of free events for children and adults, ranging from children’s safety, to self defense, to free Kickboxing classes that weekend. Many parents who brought their children to the free “Know and Go” children’s safety seminar agreed that it was the place to be that Saturday. They and their children learned a lot about different ways to stay safe. The “Know and Go” safety course was designed by America’s Leading Safety Expert, Tom Patire. It was designed to teach children how to stay safe in potentially dangerous situations by first teaching children how to recognize if a situation is dangerous, and second teaching them how to get out of a dangerous situation. It is an interactive course where children not only learn a lot, but have fun at the same time. Children Safety Expert, Mike Jones, said about the course, “Not only was the course fun and entertaining to teach, but based off of the feedback I got from parents and students I know that the information was pertinent and helpful. A lot of the material we covered in the course was about things that the parents and students had never thought about before, and they were excited to get this new information.” The children who attended the free course that Saturday were glad they attended. They had fun, made new friends, and learned a lot about personal safety. They left the course with a lot more knowledge and confidence that they would be able to help themselves and others stay safe.
