Aashra Foundation is Non-Profit Organisation, based in Bangalore. Aashra Foundation has been initiated with an aim to reach out to poor and needy people who struggle for the basic necessities of life like food, shelter, clothing, etc. As a responsible citizen, it is our duty to help these people and build a stronger nation. It’s not entirely possible to eradicate poverty, but we can at least try every possibility from our end. If our efforts can transform even a life of one individual; it will build a hope for the future. We feel privileged that through our initiatives we could reach out to over hundreds of needy people. Gone are the days when we have to depend on Government for everything. You and I can bring a change if only we work together. These people need a helping hand which can guide them to a better life - a life which promises better future for every individual. There are several institutions working towards uplifting the deprived sections of the society, but goal is far from reach. In spite of being one of the fastest growing economies in the world, there are millions of people still living under poverty line in India. It is disheartening to see the people struggling for food and shelter. Research shows that education is the main cause for this poor condition of our country. And as most of us would agree, we believe ‘education’ is the answer to creating a better nation. Education is not subjected to bookish knowledge alone. We need to educate the people starting from social ethics which have been erased from their lives due to their harsh lifestyle. We have to support them and teach them how to stand up and become a responsible citizen in the society. They cannot be left ignored just like that if our society is to be improved. We can only grow together as a group and not individually. Individual growth won’t benefit the country. Let us learn to help each other because we are social animals and we need each other for our existence. I or you alone cannot bring a positive change in the society. If we are expecting a change in the society, first we have to know that we have to change ourselves in a better way and we have to treat other people as we expect to be treated. Situations will change in a twist of time. Today we are fortunate that we are able to share and help others. We have good health and are healthy. Tomorrow things might change for better or for worse. If we do any good deeds today, we might as well receive good blessing in time of our needs. We understand that time has been unfavourable for these people and we completely empathise with them. The least we can do is accept them with open arms and help them to stand on their feet again. Let us help them to become a respected and responsible member of the society. You can join us and be a part of this noble cause in bringing a positive change in the lives of these people. Individually, we can’t do much, but as a team we can work wonders. Take on your responsibility and support our cause. Donate and support our cause: Website: http://aashrafoundation.com/ Email: info@aashrafoundation.com Contact: +91-9035443433
