Prior to hitting the "AI" stage, Miller named the tune a "big step up for me" and "a large risk" provided the raw emotion with which Beyonce performs. When Miller took to the "American Idol" stage to execute, she looked the element of a young diva in a short black and silver dress and heels. Her voice was velvety smooth as she stood surrounded by spotlight beams and performed.
She earned an enthusiastic standing ovation from all four panelists, who have been all duly impressed. Urban stated simply "definitely best 3." Minaj emphatically declared "now my Angie Miller is back" and "you just did that song justice like a queen could."
