Yet many people don't realize they're at risk of havinghigh blood pressure, according to the American HeartAssociation/American Stroke Association. If your parents or a close relative had high blood pressure,you're also at risk for the condition. As people age, they're at increased risk for high bloodpressure and cardiovascular disease.
