Michel de Nostradame was a French chemist of the 16th century who wrote several books in his lifetime and one of the famous works among his works were Les Propheties. This book was first published in 1555 but was rarely printed and seen out. This book consists of many of the major prediction on the world events that were ought to happen several years in the future. His works were really great and also appreciated by all the people but still no scholar or thinker is able to replicate his outstanding works. The exact details on the early life of Nostradame has not been provided anywhere in the history but there are proofs for him attending the University of Avignon for a very short time. Then he spent many years in travelling and then on researching on the natural remedy methods and then practicing the apothecary. He then started to write almanacs and it was from this time when he was well known as Nostradamus. The almanac of Nostradamus was a great work that was well spoken about by the people all over the world. It was then after this he took the role of a seer and a prophet who predicted the future. Then after this Nostradamus started to write the French quatrains that were a simple poem with a stanza of 4 lines. All these 4 lines were written on predicting the future on the major events and happenings that were to happen after several thousand years. Due to his fear on the persecution of some religious authorities he started to hide the true meaning of his poems and started to play word games on them by writing them in different languages mixing Greek, Latin and Italian. Nostradamus was also able to predict most of the conflicts and the discussions that were to happen in the following decades. It is said that he used the judicial astrology which is the examination of the quality of the key life events that coupled with both the classical and historical works of that period. With all these key elements he was then able to judge on the future happenings and do his works on the Nostradamus predictions. Most of the Nostradamus predictions dealt with the major world disaster like the earthquakes, floods, plaque, wars, murders, battles and the droughts. Some of his critics said that he failed to give the exact dates for his predictions but still his supporters praised him for atleast predicting the future happenings with good accuracy. Great Fire of London, the rise of Adolf Hitler as well as modern disasters, such as the September 11th attacks in America were some of the best predictions of Nostradamus which no one expected it to happen.
