The second round election that will decidethe next French president between Nicolas Sarkozy and FrancoisHollande has started in overseas departments and territories onSaturday. Around 1 million overseas voters are expected to cast their ballotsduring the day, following the lead of some 4,923 registered votersin the French islands of St. Pierre and Miquelon, off the westcoast of Canada.
