Rudraprayag - A little pilgrim city on the sacred confluence of stream Alaknanda and Mandakini, which is venerated as one of the five sacred confluences, or the 'Panch Prayag'. Rudraprayag It is known as after Rudra, an element of Master Shiva. According to a tale Master Shiva showed up here as 'Rudra' to bless Narad Muni.
