It was a Friday afternoon, almost 13 years ago.  I was talking to my coach, who was also an experienced entrepreneur. I already decided to start my own business, but had no clue what that would be like.
So I asked. And she said: “Being an entrepreneur is THE highway to personal growth.” Music to my ears! I love to learn, grow and change. Without personal growth I’d be bored to death. I know now that being in business truly is the highway to personal growth. There’s always something new to learn, change, unlearn, overcome and deal with. There’s always a next step and something uncomfortable to stretch into. And every time you grow to a new level, you bump into doubts, fears and limiting beliefs – again. That’s OK. It’s part of the process of change & growth. And it gets easier over time. BUT.
Bumping into the same old shit again and again can really make you doubt yourself.
And more doubts are NOT what most people (especially women) need – they have plenty of those already… Over the past 10 years I see my clients struggle with a lot of the same doubts and limiting beliefs. I recognize many of them myself. See if any of these sound familiar to you too: - No one is waiting for what I have to offer
- Who do I think I am to…? (whatever it is you want to do next)
- I don’t deserve to… (whatever you think is too good for you)
- There’s something wrong with me
I bet you recognize some (or all) of this. Which totally sucks if you do. Not only because it makes you feel bad. (Which sucks enough in itself). But also because it’s doubts like these that make people give up on their dreams & their mission.
Believing these doubts takes your power away. It makes you feel less able to achieve your goals, grow your business or fulfill your purpose in a successful way. It’s impossible to think of yourself as a powerful creator when you are having these doubts. (And they are not even true). This is one of the reasons I shared some uplifting truths about the universe and about YOU in my program Business Magic. To remind you that there is nothing wrong with you, and you’re able to accomplish so much more than you think you can.
