A general keyword may generate traffic, but probably not to your site, because it will probably have many thousands, if not millions, of competing websites. For you to be making money online with Google by writing articles, you need lots of traffic and little competition in your keyword marketing. Making money online with Google by writing articles is definitely possible but you need to have your work planned, your keywords picked to generate traffic and interest, and you must have a website with something for people to buy or get from you.
