Blizzard has released the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Diablo 3. Now, evil has been reborn on the consoles around the world. The current generation console versions sell for $59.99, including all of the updates for the PC version. New features like control modifications, user interface along with new couch and online co-op modes will enable the game to run better on consoles. Over the past year, the PC version of the game has seen update after update, with added Paragon levels, new balancing, and better Legendary gear. More changes are on the way, especially in the upcoming Reaper of Souls expansion, which also adds a Crusader class to the game. Blizzard next joined the PlayStation 4's coming out party in February to announce that the game would be coming to the PS4. The announcement had not covered about an Xbox One version of the game. Eurogamer - "If anything, with all your skills under the fingers of one hand and direct character control, you can now play more instinctively. An evade move on the right stick, which lets you change position while attacking - never possible in the PC game - is a massive boon. The biggest beneficiaries of the move from mouse to pad are the melee classes, the Monk and Barbarian. The latter feels especially right, unleashing his mighty slams as you drum the buttons, brawling away. But the ranged Wizard and Demon Hunter also play beautifully. It's only the indirect style of the Witch Doctor, with his summons and skills that do progressive damage over time, which feels like an awkward fit." According to a player review about hands-on with the Diablo 3 console version, the left analog stick handles movement while the right stick adds a new evade feature. Push down and the character quickly steps back. Push left or right, and the character jumps left or right. This makes it extremely easy to stay alive in the higher game modes like Hell or Nightmare. On the PS3 controller, you can assign attacks to R1 and all four of the colored buttons. You use L1 (and, I believe, L2) for potions. There's also a new evade command: you can use the right joystick to roll around and dodge enemy attacks. Above all, Blizzard wants to make Diablo as friendly to console gamers as possible, while still offering the challenge and metric tons of loot that makes this series so damned popular.
