HOW TO ACHIEVE TEAMWORK ON A BUSINESS

The importance of teamwork inside businesses cannot be underestimated. The people are working together to achieve a certain goal. Their outcome will reflect upon their individual abilities, and their vision towards the goal. Their performance as a unit contributes to the whole company.

Many Team Leaders, Managers and Upper Management wanted to achieve great results on their departments. Good results make the team to be progressive, and a progressive company is a successful company. In a team, it consist of individuals working together to acquire one goal. The goal is to perform their tasks at their best. Since many people wanted to achieve success on their team, looking for effective ways to achieve teamwork on a business is their goal. Example: Doppler Internet created healthy working environment for their team members, building good relationship with every individual working for the company. The CEO Carl Doppler treated his employees as part of his family.

No owner or team leader can perform all the tasks made by every team member. Every one of his members needs to work individually, but their efforts contribute in making good teamwork. In this article, we will give you useful tips in achieving great teamwork on your business with the help of Doppler Internet’s tips.

Communication is the Key

Communication with one another is an important part of a good teamwork. A group of people working together with communication and can freely share thoughts and ideas with one another have a definite advantage in achieving what they are set to do. For example: If an employee is restricted from talking from his eight in the morning till the end of his shift, he will definitely experience stress. A person needs to freshen up his mind every 2 hours to avoid eye strain from staring at his computer for a very long time.

Ideas should be communicated across all levels of a group; this allows a supervisor or a team manager to exactly figure out the feelings of each member. Proper coordination and cooperation with one another are great results of good communication. For a team leader, make sure to communicate with your team member not because you need a task to finish; you must be sensitive enough to know the situation of your members.

Respect

No individual wanted their dignity to be stepped on. Having respect for one another is a good foundation for any team. It provides encouragement, support and appreciation for each individual’s effort. Having favorites and ignoring members of your team creates divisions, animosity and will bring about negativity. For example: Scolding an employee in front of the whole people in the office may become a terrifying experience for him.  This would lead in two ways, 1.) He may resign when he feels he have no dignity to spare for himself. 2.) He may not work productively and will develop negativity that may influence other workers. If you are going to discipline an employee, always remember to do it privately. Talk to him privately and tell him his mistakes. Offer solution to the problem, do not pin him down publicly for his mistakes.

Equality

Give each member of the team equal and shared responsibility. The work load should be divided equally among team members. The alternative way of doing it is to help one another by sharing tasks. It is a good way of learning what the other team member does and helping out if the need arises. This enable work to be completed on time within any deadlines set by the company.

Most team leaders wanted to finish their tasks and work on time, but they must know they be accountable for their team’s actions. The responsibility that lies with every person in the team is what makes the team work as a unit.

Social Interaction and Team Building

Providing social interaction with each other outside office hours can provide team members the opportunity to get to know one another better. This is a great way for taking away pressure from work. Stress can build up friction or arguments between team members. Listening to one another, boosting each other’s morale and regular feedback will make a team united and focused on the successful completion of any company goal.

Communication, Respect, equality and Social Interaction are some of the factors that make a good team. Caring for every member of the team is needed, to motivate the team members to work with less amount of pressure.  Listening to one another and regular feedback keep a team united and focused on the successful completion of any goal.
