For e.g. Aurea Nana grows in an irregular, upright shape with twisted and fan-shaped foliage. This variety has folden color all round the year. Gracilis is a medium-sized, compact plant. This variety has darker green foliage and large, graceful branches. - Dwarf hinoki cypress prefers moist and well-drained soil with a pH of round about 4.7-7.5.
