Washers are important and no active and functioning household will dare to speak against this fact. A lot rests with washers among which, saving hours of the owners precious time can be mentioned as the foremost. So, when a time as such arises when the washers suddenly behave the way they should not, that too when it is not their time to go, owners feel the need to reflect on what when wrong. More often than not, what actually goes wrong is the aspect of maintenance. Most owners forget to ensure some very basic maintenance acts which could be as simple as cleaning the appliance at regular intervals or, using the appliance the way it has been directed in the user’s manual. Deviation from the right ways to use to use the appliance and exposing the appliance to very poor maintenance can show in the functioning of the washer or, any other appliances for that matter, through a number of symptoms. Each of these symptoms are an indication that the washer has in fact, moved a step or, two closer to complete and untimely shutdown. Some of these symptoms can be mentioned as follows. Show Frequent Signs of Malfunctioning: With minimum or, no maintenance, the components of the washers begin to show steady deterioration. The drainage system of the washers can be counted among the first component assemblage that displays signs of malfunctioning because of exposure to misuse and low maintenance. Drainage is the area where most of the dirt, grime and foreign articles(like loose buttons, coins etc) get accumulated. When allowed to accumulate, it prevents water from draining out of the system which again leads to many other problems. Similarly, problems like this can arise with other washer parts also which can aggravate because of steady denial in the part of the owners. Affect Other Components of The Washer: A washer part that is not being able to handle its assigned task in turn builds pressure on the other components that support its functioning. Say for example, the washer belt gets worn out for whatever reason, because of which the tub gets to spin poorly. When this problem gets ignored, it goes on to affect the motor which is responsible for coordinating the movement of the belt with the movement of the tub. Thus, within a very short span of time, the motor also becomes a victim of poor maintenance, depreciating the appliance even further. Call for Frequent Expenditure on Repairs and Replacements: With frequent display of malfunctioning in washer parts which goes on piling because of poor rather, shameful maintenance and sheer negligence of symptoms in the part of the owners, there comes a time when the latter are forced to spend a whole lot of money in repairs and replacements with the risk that it may not last for long. Give Up Way Before Their Due Time: Last but not the least, the washers give up in the face of extreme torture, lift up their hands and accept the sweet kiss of death in the prime of their youth. This could be lesson for all owners who have been taking the aspect of maintenance at face value.
