We all know how important public records are. They contain important information pertaining to an individual, a company as well as other government transactions. The report is free however; reports that exceed 10 pages will be charged at $.20 each from the first page onwards. Also, include a duplicate copy of current/valid identification like driver’s license or any government-issued id. For those who want to obtain their own personal criminal records, fee is $30. All payments should be paid through credit card or money order. For those who want access to arrest records, they can also go to Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. The Records division is open during weekdays for walk-ins. The office also accepts mail requests. For those requesting the record, they should also include a copy of their valid id. Requests can be sent either through courier or standard mail. Processing for requests can take up to 10 business days. To ensure that the file that one wants to access is not restricted, consider calling the records division first.
