There are several reasons to why car parts and accessories are to be changed regularly. The modified cars look unique even if it had suffered very bad accidents by replacing car body panels or accessories. Anybody who loves their car would not like to see their car in a damaged and old state and hence would prefer to revamp the car. Dubai’s car parts and accessories department of the automotive sector has recently grown up to 13 per cent which is more that Dh 9.65 billion during the first few months of this year. Although the market trade of this sector was highly competitive with many other enterprises from around the world domination it, Dubai customs revealed that the region had made significant success in the sector and has a very promising future. Dubai had recently imported Dh 5.11 billion worth of car parts and accessories in the first quarter of the year and the exports and re-exports amounted up to Dh 4.54 billion according to the research made by senior managers of the Dubai customs. Research based on the impact of sanctions showed that the regional markets have made great successes in the industry. The car parts and accessories business contributed around Dh 36.27 billion which 3.33 per cent of Dubai’s total foreign trade which amounted to about Dh 1.1 trillion by the end of the year. The imports were valued at Dh 21.5 billion and the exports valued at Dh 14.77 billion. Dubai also imported car parts and accessories from various international commerces which the again re-exported after modification. This amounted to around Dh 4.45 billion or 30 per cent. The car parts and accessories field was never expected to be in such demand and therefore, developed further in UAE.
