Also queuing was Zhu Ying, a local university student, who boughttickets for Golden Bear winning Italian drama "Caesar Must Die." "The festival provides a good opportunity for my classmates and Ito see many outstanding art house and experimental films," Zhusaid. Shanghai Film Art Center has taken around 600,000 yuan (US$94,379)in ticket sales, said manager Zhang Bin. Japanese suspense thriller "The Wings of the Kirin," along with"W.E.," a British romantic drama co-written and directed byMadonna, and Tim Burton's new comedy horror film "Dark Shadows" areamong the most popular movies so far. "The film fest continues to offer an array of diverse films," Zhangsaid. "A lot more films this year also give the audience a chanceto meet cast members ahead of the screening." Films showing at Stellar Cinema City at Pudong include Frenchmusical murder-mystery "8 Women," Danish drama "Melancholia" andSouth Korean thriller "The Host 3D."
