On Sep 21st a man with illegal prescription drugs was held at a traffic stop in Mattapoisett, New Jersey . He is convicted for possession of drugs with intent to distribute. Michael Rivida, 34, of Wareham, was found in possession of 141 doses of Oxycodone and 67 doses of Adderall which was found hidden in various compartment of his car. He is being charged with felony possession to distribute Class B drugs. Officers stopped New Jersey man Rivida on Route 6 eastbound in Mattapoisett at about 3:40 a.m. on Sept. 21 and arrested him for carrying illegal drugs. Rivida is being held in prison pending trial. His arrest was the result of a two-month investigation which involved Rivida travelling to New Jersey and selling illegal drugs in Wareham, Yarmouth, and the entire mid-Cape area.
