The museum on the premises houses quite an exotic collection of antiques, such as royal possessions, religious statues and other archeologically interesting remains discovered from various sites and temples in Male. The Buddha statues, statues of Hindu Gods as well as the royal belongings such as the thrones, sedan chairs and intricately decorated boxes offer quite a remarkable insight into the olden days. The recent discovery of two statues with the five faces and large feline teeth, extended tongue and large ear lobes is yet another fascinating item at the museum.
