Deepawali or Diwali is absolutely the large-scale and the brightest of all Hindu festivals. On the day of Diwali carnival, doorways are hung with torans of mango departs and marigolds. Rangolis are drawn with different tinted powders to welcome visitors. The customary motifs are often connected with auspicious emblems of good luck. Oil diyas are organised in and round the dwelling. Because of these flickering lights, the festival has acquired its title:Diwali or Diwali meaning 'a line. On this day, persons purchase something for the house or some jewellery for the women of the dwelling. It is auspicious to be purchase certain thing metallic, such as shiny.
Anything may be the fables and legends behind the celebrations of Diwali, all persons exchange sweets, wear new clothes and purchase jewellery at this festive time. Card parties are held in numerous dwellings. Diwali has become commercialized as the large-scale annual buyer spree because every family shops for sweets, presents and fireworks. However, in all this frenzy of buying and eating, the stable, flaming lamp is an unchanging emblem of an illuminated brain.
