Facebook and Breast Cancer Awareness Unifylink works with small businesses to get the word out about their products and services through Social Media. Now, Unifylink is helping Breast Friends get the word out about their remarkable organization. To draw attention to the organization, Unifylink has created a striking new co-branded cover image as well as posting updates to draw the attention of its thousands of fans to raise awareness. Unifylink has selected Breast Friends as its partner for the month based on the work that they do in the local community. While many charities focus on research or prevention, Breast Friends directly provides assistance to women and families that are battling the traumas of breast cancer. With affiliates in Pennsylvania and Florida as well as Oregon, they have been working for over a decade to empower thousands of women with support and hope. Breast Friends offers education to family and friends of patients so they can better help their loved ones through the process of surviving breast cancer. They also host retreats and workshops for women who have been newly diagnosed, as well survivors. Community education is a key element to the support that Breast Friends provides. They present to small and large groups on topics including medical information as well as social, emotional, and physical support.
