Before computers and laptops became a household name, video games were a huge craze. The expectancy of gifts revolved around video games. Comics were also reigning the young hearts before video games. The list of such charming gifts for a child is endless. They are changing their tastes like adults only. Everybody wants to get the best and receive the best gift. Children are no exception. They too, like adults can think of expensive gifts. Now-a-days teens never hanker after comics or video games. You give him a cell phone as a birthday present he will be satisfied. This cell phone culture has been adopted from the West. It is quite understandable that children learn and try to imitate from whatever is shown to them. In films, it is commonly shown that their children are getting this, buying that. Our children ask for the same things. It is but natural. We tend to get and give the best. We do not want to displease our loved ones. It is very much essential that we have to judge our generation before handing over them any kind of gift. If you give a video game to a kid who is less attentive in his studies, then he will be more distracted from his studies. However, the situation is not so simple. Sometimes you have to listen to them also. To conclude it can be maintained that gifts are very precious and dear to our hearts. Like adults, children also aspire to receive gifts that they like very much. Be it a remote controlled car or a beautiful frock.
